Nabisunsa Girls Lacrosse Open tournament in partnership with Rose Foam Mattresses, Rwenzori Mineral water

The 2nd edition of the Nabisunsa girls lacrosse open one day tournament played out with 4 U19 girls teams at the school grounds.

Forest Hill College and Nabisunsa Girls School were joined by Silverbacks Lacrosse Academy a community team from outskirts of Nakawa, Kampala.

With lacrosse rapidly gaining popularity in Uganda and allover the world, many youth enjoy the new challenge of learning and playing the exotic precision sport.

On the calendar this year Namagunga Open in March and Silverbacks open in June are some of the events to look out for.

Nabisunsa Girls team A won the day with 24 points, Silverbacks 21, Nabisunsa Girls team B 5 and Forest Hill College 2.

Most Valuable Player of the tournament was Namara Kauthar who started playing lacrosse since S1 2014 and currently an accomplished player.
