JINJA NILE ZULUS ENGLISH LACROSSE PLAYER SCORES 1ST GOAL OF THE UGANDA LACROSSE LEAGUE 2017.

 ENGLISH LACROSSE PLAYER FOR JINJA NILE ZULUS LACROSSE CLUB SCORES 1ST GOAL OF THE UGANDA LACROSSE LEAGUE 2017.

On a bright afternoon of 10th-June-2017 English Lacrosse player Robert Towers scored the 1st goal of the 2017 lacrosse league 3 minutes after face off whistle. The goal was received with loud cheers as the Jinja Nile Zulus were the least favourite for such an honour.

Robert went ahead to score both goals for the Zulus as the game ended 15-2 in favor of the indomitable MUBS Lacrosse team that has the most experienced players in the league currently with ten of them having featured in the 2014 World lacrosse championships in Denver Colorado.

Bugembe Andrew, Olokotum John Paul, Mamawi Andrew and team Captain Pita Shaban among other players represented Jinja a team that missed the services of attack man Samson Kayemba through arm injury and Aikobua Milton who could be fit for the weekend game againt Panthers Lacrosse Club that beat YMCA Warriors 10-1 with Ken Kasule scoring five times followed by Ochan Reagan with three.
