Uganda Lacrosse Foundation delivers much needed food relief to over 40 families
Uganda Lacrosse Foundation and Silverbacks Lacrosse Academy joined the national task force to donate much needed food supplies to 40 in much need families of junior players of U19 category that use Makerere University Business School ground's.
Officials Kirinya Isaac, Nakato Dorothy and Kato Adam delivered the food items to the door step of each of the families in Kiswa, Kinawataka, Kitintale and other areas in Nakawa Division.
To much delight, two times Uganda Cranes national lacrosse defensive player Otim Ronald graced the function and ULF Chairman Peter Ginnegar sent a solidarity message to all players and their families to keep their head high and follow all precautions while fighting the global perndemic of COVID-19 and further spread of Corona virus.
Lacrosse activities in Uganda indefinitely remain suspended until further notice from the Ministry of Health regarding action on this war.
All players, coaches and administrators are urged to remain in solidarity during these times well knowing that tough times don't last, but tough people do and when the going gets tough, the tough get going.
