JINJA NILE ZULUS GRACE'S EAST AFRICA 7's 3rd EDITION

KYAMBOGO UNIVERSITY HOSTED A SUCCESSFUL  EAST AFRICA 7's 3rd EDITION.

Being the best and biggest tournament in Africa at the moment the organizers and participants together collaborated well to display great lacrosse all day.
Thanks so much to Fellowship of Christian Athletes[FCA] for continued support of lacrosse activities in Africa overall.
Panthers Lacrosse Club won the one club category that was contested for by 4 teams.
ULA President and FCA representative handover men's club category trophy to Panthers Lacrosse Club team.

Team Results.
Panthers 8-4 Lions of Juddah
Nile Zulus 1-3 YMCA Warriors.
Lions of Juddah 6-3 Nile Zulus
YMCA Warriors 3-8 Panthers
Referee's Otim,Ryan,Riky celebrate successful events on the day.

Major highlight's.
The referee trainee's at the games were the most import part as Refeere Instructor Ryan Wallace was handy and making sure there were no slashes going uncalled.

Short falls.
For the tournament that happened twice previously with Kenya and Rwanda Lacrosse programs involved, not coming for 3rd edition because busy schedule for Kenya and travel funding issues in Rwanda was regrettable but hoping that they can make it in 2020 to continue giving all the regional players an opportunity to operate and test their development progress.

RYAN WALLACE- 2017 EAST AFRICA 7'S [JINJA UGANDA]
With his experience from his 1st trip, Ryan thought it necessary to preside over referee's and coaching clinics in Kenya and Uganda and he is at it.
He completed 3 days in Kenya and currently in Uganda teaching a sizeable number on lacrosse management on and off the field.

UGANDA U-19 BOYS EMPIRE.
Ken Kasule #7, among the many attending the course confirmed that they opted in because this is a great leap forward in the growth of the game.
Uganda's hospitality very good for lacrosse traveler's from across the world.

The East Africa 7's Tournament known to bring together regional teams Kenya,Rwanda and Uganda will be played by club teams from Uganda following the busy end of the Harambe Stars in Canada and limited access to Rwanda.
Panthers Lacrosse
Teams competing in the men's category.

1 - Panthers Lacrosse
2 - YMCA Expendables Lacrosse
3 - Lion of Judah
4 - Jinja Nile Zulus.

So that gives us as players more reason to go hardest representing for club team.

KENYA U-19 WOMEN'S NATIONAL TEAM THE REAL AFRICAN QUEEN'S.

KENYA U-19 WOMEN'S NATIONAL TEAM  WOWS FANS AT THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES IN PETERBOROUGH,ONTARIO CANADA.

It's now on record that a women's national team from Africa with fully equipped home grown talent can come to the world stage and compete favorably against majorly American grown talent where the game of lacrosse is already deeply routed for over a century.

This goes without saying after Kenya's current results at the on going games with 1-3 ranking after 4 group games. Most important a group game win in the first outing which set's a higher standard for future African teams.

Kenya was placed in a group of 5 team's managed a win which is still a record that will remain to be lifted in case Uganda,Rwanda,South Africa and Ghana can have a team in the next world games.

World games results.
Korea 15-10 Kenya
China 15-5 Kenya
Kenya 17-1 Jamaica
Kenya 6-7 Germany

Thanks to Kenya Head Coach Storm Trentham whom for 12 years now has been working on this dream that finally come to pass with all the development partner's and assistant coaching staff that include Oriana Patrick and Ochan Reagan both Ugandans from across the border.
