LACROSSE EXPERIENCE THROUGH A CAMERA PHONE-UGANDA.

LACROSSE EXPERIENCE THROUGH A CAMERA PHONE-UGANDA .

My life as a lacrosse player, fan, juniors lacrosse project coordinator and Africa Lacrosse platform for faster and sustainable development principal coordinator moves from driving the kids lacrosse teams to game venues in vans to coaching girls teams and also holding skills clinics.

These photos from Jan-August 2016 will give an experience of how much work it is. Thank you for the morale and support every stake holder pushing for the growth of the game in Uganda/Kenya/South Africa.

Hopeful School-Masaka 1st win in Kampala/The future of juniors lacrosse.

Hopeful School-Masaka 1st win in Kampala/The future of juniors lacrosse.

With less than 2 minutes left on the countdown the game remained 5-5 and the pressure for a tie breaker was hiking,in a few seconds of play, the Hopeful school made it 1 ahead after a string of well shared balls and the celebration lasted over 10 seconds slowing down the intensity of the game.
Celebrations at Hopeful School-Masaka.

The center referee made a time up call and for the first time in three years, the Hopeful School Lacrosse boys junior team had won a major fixture at the hands of more experienced Nakawa based Kampala team and the game ended 5-6 in favour of the travel team

Team Captain Kampala Juniors-Ochan Reagan.
.

Onen Castro David and Colin Cardena were in charge of the Kampala team that had less to complain about but hail the much much improved skills of team play among the Masaka boys who had traveled over 370 km on the same morning to the game venue Makerere University Business School Sport Grounds Nakawa.

This win is the Genesis of a new chapter in the future of juniors lacrosse since the shift in power is inevitable with the resources and team bonding/practices more possible in Masaka than Kampala.
There is a wholesomely increasing popularity of the game of lacrrosse among Ugandan youth a sign of growth and development.

This article is dedicated to all lacrosse players in candidate classes that begin their Uganda Certificate of Education final examinations today ie Obol John(Nile-Crocs Jnrs Lax) and Onen Joel(Silverbacks Jnrs Lax) among many others.
