Thanks to the Belchick Foundation and Warrior Lacrosse for continued support of lacrosse programs in Uganda which creates a great boast and impression for the growth of the game in Africa.

Kelly Cup-FCA Lacrosse preparations in Uganda.

The opening fixture tournament of the Uganda Lacrosse kicks off this Saturday on the 16th at MUBS Grounds Nakawa. David Kelly a great Uganda Lacrosse development partner will be the guest of honour.

Participating teams include NileCrocs juniors lacrosse club with Coach Twesiime Liberty,Coach Anwar Jeff will come with Silverbacks juniors lacrosse club,Jinja Nile Zulus lacrosse with Mr Sam Otoa,YMCA Warriors and two women's teams among others.

While conducting training both Anwar and Liberty promised each other tight competition simply because the juniors level is the most prospective program with lots of entertainment and skills improvement.

This will be a big step towards the continued development strategies in place to step up the competitiveness and spread of the game of lacrosse into different parts of the country a pilot study which is already doing well in Jinja lacrosse programs watched by Mr Sam Otoa.

Lacrosse in Uganda continues to blossom and 2016 is being kicked off in style with FCA Lacrosse in conjunction with the Uganda Lacrosse Association holding an open one tournament dubbed Kelly Cup.

David Kelly will be among many dignitaries to grace a major lacrosse event that will continue to expose both Ugandan and African lacrosse talent untapped potential according to development strategist Twesiime Liberty.

This is one of the numerous lacrosse events that will highlight lacrosse development in Africa towards FIL Championships in Englan 2018 where Africa dreams to front more than one teams.
